Two people have been arrested by the special cell of Delhi Police, two days after an imprisoned mobster and his two assailants were killed in An shooting in a courtroom in Delhi.

the arrested men are Umang and Vinay, police sources said. Both suspects are residents of Haiderpuri in north west delhi.

The men, sources said, were arrested on the basis of on the CCTV footage of port number 4 of the Rohini court in north Delhi where the shooting took place.

On the day of the attack, Umang, mee with the two gunmen, reached a shopping center in Rohini’s sector 9 where they were all dressed as lawyers, the sources said.

Upon reaching the court, Umang had to wait, according to the plan in the car, sources said. The shooters were expected to finish the job and escape in the wait car, she added.

When the plan derailed and the gunmen were killed, Umang ran away, they said.

On Friday, gunmen dressed as lawyers were present in court, shot mobster Jitender Gogi thrice. Special force personnel escort the gangster and then get fired back, killing both attackers on the place.

Gunshots can be heard in videos in court and police officers and lawyers are seen in a struggle in the court building.

The shooting was the result of a rivalry of years between Jitender Gogi’s gang and the rival “Tillu gang,” police said.

“Two men dressed as lawyers open fire at Jitender Gogi in the court. Then the police took revenge and killed die two attackers. It’s not a gang war,” Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana told NDTV.

“The police acted quickly and killed both attackers. Total are three deadincluding Gogi,” said Mr. Asthana.

More than 25 people have died over the years in clashes between the two gangs, police said.
