Each U.S. State was input into a Pokemon A.I. generator by a Pokemon gamer, receiving surprisingly accurate results and many awesome Pokemon designs.

The incredible results were shared online by a passionate Pokemon fan who decided to enter all 50 U.S. States into an A.I.-powered Pokemon creator on TikTok. Finding a distinctive design can be challenging because there are more than 800 Pokemon to be found throughout the Pokemon franchise. The 9th Generation of Pokemon, many of which have not yet been revealed, will be brought home by the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
In recent years, artists have been deploying A.I. to assist with creating fantastic pieces of art. Computer processing power has finally reached a point where what was once only found in science-fiction novels can now be used to create, for example, a Pokemon that represents Vermont. Exactly what the A.I. network uses from each state is unknown, as some generated Pokemon resemble landmarks while others are versions of common animals. Other Pokemon fans have also used an A.I. network to predict the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter evolutions.
On his TikTok channel, Pen Paladin posted videos highlighting the AI-generated Pokemon. Some outcomes, like Pennsylvania resembling the Liberty Bell or Texas resembling a bull, accurately represent the state. Other findings, such as the masked rock Pokemon standing in for Nevada, allow for creative interpretation. With their distinctive coin motif, the recently discovered Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Gimmighoul might stand in for casinos. No matter how closely the designs resemble the U.S. State, most are impressive and could easily be included in the upcoming 9th Gen.

Pen Paladin has already shared Pokemon designs for 20 of the 50 states in the United States. Some distinctive designs, like California, might be seen as localized iterations of existing Pokemon. With the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon in Gen 7, regional variants were first introduced. Regional variants of the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will also exist, though the number and particular Pokemon are currently unknown.
With over a million views on TikTok, Pen Paladin’s videos have received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Fans enjoy speculating why the A.I. chose each Pokemon to represent its respective U.S. State. For instance, Pokemon fans in Kansas have noted how much the artificial intelligence-generated Pokemon for their state resembles the Kansas sun bear. In contrast, most comments praised Florida’s Pokemon as remarkably true to the Sunshine State’s culture. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have already received record-breaking pre-orders from the community, demonstrating that interest in the series is about to reach an all-time high.
