Attorney Rittenhouse explains how media had ‘basic facts’ wrong

Kyle Rittenhouse defense Attorney Mark Richards targeted the media representation of of your client is recent murder test, sandblasting sockets like CNN and MSNBC for mess up “basic facts.”

Speaking to ‘NewsNation’ over on the weekend, Richards specifically targeted MSNBC and CNN as the networks they featured false representations of Rittenhouse and his actions, both during and after the trial.

“It pisses me off that they can’t take the time to get at least the generic, basic facts correct because they didn’t fit in the story they wanted to say,” Richards said. He called out “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough for claiming that Rittenhouse fired dozens of guns of times, as well as “Some guest guest on Joy Reid “ for saying that Rittenhouse drove hours to reach Kenosha. Both claims are false.

Since Rittenhouse received the “not guilty” verdict in a murder process resulting from the deaths of August 2020 of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber during a transformed protest in riot, many pushed for the teenager to report defamation suits. Nick Sandmann, who himself won defamation suits against media stores like CNN, encouraged Rittenhouse to file a complaint, in the awakening of a line-up of jury with his self-defense discussion. Experts and activists painted the young man as a racist, even if the trial presented no official trial of this.

Richards said that though media coverage was “wrong” from the beginning of the process, he pushed for attention for remain on Rittenhouse instead of fighting the media.

“When I got involved in this case and there were a couple of them of other prominent attorneys who they got involved and tried to make some calls and said, “Look, everything” of your riches and yours cause civilians won’t go anywhere if this guy is found guilty of nothing,” He said.

Rittenhouse was arrested and charged after shooting and killing Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum in an altercation in August 2020 during a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin who had transformed in a riot.
