Australia fast bowler James Pattinson has announced his retirement from international cricket forward of The axes.
Pattinson made the decision after feeling that he wouldn’t be in a position to in to push for An place in the five-Test series against England, which is scheduled to start in Brisbane on Dec 8

“If I Was Part” of the ashes I would need to do myself and my team-sizes justice.
“Not me want to be in a position of fight with mine body when you need to be 100 percent fit and ready to use at any time. That wouldn’t be fair to me of the team.
“It was then that I felt that instead of to attempt play all the way highest level, knowing I’m only three of have four years of cricket left, I would focus more on Victoria, help the young guys develop, maybe some cricket in England and expenses more time with mine family.”
Pattinson previously played county cricket in England with Nottinghamshire.
“Now I have made the decision I really hope enjoy the last three of four years of cricket.
“I have a great time over the years and thank Cricket Australia for the opportunities, the trust they have placed in me and of of course everyone of mine team-enjoyed during the trip.
“They have taught a lot” of to trust in me especially at times when I was injured and helped me through it times. I am very grateful for that.”
