Australian authorities arrest Djokovic again

Sydney: immigration authorities in Australia arrested in Melbourne there star Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, world number one, for the second time the player has been detained since his arrival in Australia. Although Djokovic’s visa was revoked for a second time on Friday, he was not held until he finished an interview with immigration officials today. Djokovic left his lawyer’s office just before 3pm, Australian time, according to the Australian news agency. And the agency indicated that Djokovic, who is said to have not received a vaccine against the emerging coronavirus, will likely be arrested by immigration authorities overnight, ahead of Sunday’s scheduled hearing before the Melbourne Federal Court.
