Bahrain’s King Pays Tribute to Ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today awarded the Isa Award Winner to Ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit of the Republic of Nepal for Service to Humanity in its fifth session (2021-2022), at the Isa Cultural Center in the capital, Manama. His Majesty King Hamad said in his speech in this occasion “It is our pleasure to meet you at the conclusion of the proceedings of the fifth session of the ISA Award for Service to Humanity, which we were eager to devote to the honor of the fragrant biography of his greatness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may God bless the his soul and rest in paceand embody with his lofty goals the approach of his wise and dedicated leader in carrying the banner of goodness and pace in name of Bahrain, and worked all his life, in the blessed footsteps of the honorable rulers of Bahrain, and the contemporary history of our country has recorded for him the brightest chapters of its historical development and renaissance.

After that, the audience watched a documentary film which dealt with the biography of Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may God rest his soul.

Then Dr. Farhan Nizami, a judging panel for the ISA Service to Humanity Award in its fifth session, gave a speech in which he passed in reviews the efforts made by the award to facilitate this task.

Afterwards, a documentary of the ISA Award winner’s achievements was shown for Service to Humanity, ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit from the Republic of Nepal discussing his humanitarian work and achievements in his field of work.

Subsequently, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, presented the ISA Award for Service to Humanity to the award-winning ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Roit of the Republic of Nepal.

Then the award-winning ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit from the Republic of Nepal expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that the ISA Award for Service to Humanity represents the true value of the Kingdom of Bahrain for creating a distinguished humanitarian work.

Dr. Sandock added that he is committed to performing half a million surgeries or more over the next five years, especially for those who cannot access and afford surgery.
