Bangladesh tour of New Zealand postponed for a week

Auckland, 4 February (Bangladesh) The upcoming tour of Bangladesh cricket team to New Zealand has been postponed for a week due to challenges related to the corona virus. According to the revised schedule, Bangladesh will play three ODIs and as many T20 matches from March 20 to April 1 in their tour. New Zealand Cricket said in a statement that the schedule of the tour was changed with the aim of giving Kovid-19 current challenges and enough time for the visiting team to prepare. The Bangladesh tour will now begin seven days after the pre-determined schedule. This will be Bangladesh’s first tour of New Zealand after 2019. Then the tour had to be canceled mid-way after the attack in the mosque a day before the third Test match in Christchurch. The first ODI of the tour will be played in Dunedin on 20 March. After this, the next two ODIs will be played in Christchurch (23 March) and Wellington (26 March). The T20 Internationals will take place in Hamilton (28 March), Napier (30 March) and Auckland (1 April).
