Barcelona condemns the violence against Koeman after the defeat against Real

Barcelona have condemned the “violence and contempt” that manager Ronald Koeman was subjected to when he left Camp Nou following a 2-1 defeat by Real Madrid at the top of La Liga on Sunday.

The videos on social media showed fans surrounding theauto of Koeman and prevented her from moving, as the Dutch manager was trying to leave the stadium after Barcelona suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in clashes with Real Madrid.

The club Catalan said on their Twitter account: FC Barcelona publicly condemns the acts of violence and contempt our coach was subjected to when he left Camp Nou and will take safety and disciplinary measures to ensure that such unfortunate events do not happen again.

Barcelona are ninth in championship with 15 points in nine games, six points behind leaders Real Sociedad, who have played ten games.

Koeman is under pressure due to the team’s poor results, which have led to speculation about his future al club.
