Barcelona face Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals of the European League

Nyon v Switzerland: The draw for the European Football Championship, drawn today, Friday, at the headquarters of the European Union (UEFA) in the Swiss city of Nyon, saw the Spanish team of Barcelona against Eintracht Frankfurt, in Germany. The first leg will be played at Eintracht Frankfurt, while the return will be at Camp Nou. In the other quarter-final matches, Germany’s Leipzig will meet Atlanta, Italy, West Ham, France, and Sporting Braga, Portugal, with Glasgow Rangers, Scotland, with the first legs being played in Leipzig, West Ham and Sporting Braga. The draw resulted in the semi-finals, where the winner of Leipzig and Atlanta meets the winner of Braga and Rangers, and the winner of West Ham and Lyon meets the winner of Eintracht and Barcelona. The first leg of the quarter-finals will be played on April 7th, while the second legs will be played on the 14th of the same month. The first leg of the semifinals will be played on April 28, while the second leg will be played on May 5. The European League final will be held in Seville on 18 May and the winner will qualify for the Champions League next season, although they will not qualify through the local league. (Dpa)
