Bayern announce Omar Richards departure for Nottingham Forest – (Tweet)

Munich: German football club Bayern Munich announced the transfer of their English player, Omar Richards, to newly promoted Premier League Nottingham Forest on Sunday in England. Left-back Richards, 24, returns in England after a season at Bayern. Reports indicated that the financial consideration for the transaction amounted to approximately ten million euros. Richards moved to Bayern last summer from Reading on a parameter basis zeroand the player has signed a four-year contract with the club which expires in June 2025. Bayern sporting director Hasan Salih Hamidzic said: “Omar’s wish was to give him a chance to move for the Nottingham Forest team. The player sees this as an opportunity to play regularly in the team’s Premier League matches. Nottingham have a great player who will make his way into the team. “Richards did not have a great opportunity to participate in Bayern games, as he has only played 17 official matches for the team.
