beIN Group exclusively broadcasts the AFC Champions League and the AFC Cup

Doha – “Al Quds Al Arabi”: The Asian football confederation and the media group “BeIN”, based in the capital of Qatar, Doha, have announced “the completion of a long-term historic agreement, according to which the group will enjoy rights to broadcast all AFC matches in 3 consecutive sessions in the Middle East and North Africa region ”. During the first cycle 2022-2024, beIN MEDIA GROUP and its sports channels will have the exclusive rights to broadcast all the matches of the AFC in selected countries from the Middle East and North Africa, with the exception of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Iran and Iraq. The list of (14) countries in which beIN has exclusive rights includes: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen. beIN also has non-exclusive broadcasting rights in the following countries: Chad, Djibouti, Mauritania, Somalia and Sudan. As for the next two editions, beIN will have exclusive rights to cover and broadcast all AFC competitions in 17 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, and non-exclusive rights in Other 6 countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Under this partnership between AFC and beIN, which dates back to 2010, beIN SPORTS will offer exclusive coverage of AFC matches across its four AFC match channels, giving viewers the opportunity to watch all matches simultaneously. The coverage of each match will also be accompanied by the best world-class sports analysis studies made available by the group through a selection of its most distinguished talents in the world of sports analysis. AFC rights will be available on all beIN subscription packages and will be added to its sports channel portfolio in Middle East and North Africa, which also includes exclusive rights to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the English Premier League and the Champions League, Europa League, European Football Conference League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, FA Cup and many other broadcasting rights for other sports and entertainment.
