Bellator 237: Fedor vs. Rampage live score, updates, highlights from the full card

Two MMA myths battle for 2019 final card as former PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko meets former UFC light heavyweight champion and one of the sport’s biggest personalities, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, at the 23rd Arena event at Bellator S in Saitama, Japan, live on DAZN.

Emelianenko (38-6, a non-competition) returns for the first time after being knocked out by Ryan Bader in 35 seconds in the final of the Grand Prix heavyweight at Bellator 214 in January. Speculation swirled that the race could have been for the Russians. But it was all just rumors when Emelianenko signed a prolonged promotion in June with the intention of being the final contract of his career.

The “last emperor” fights in Japan for the first time after a TKO first victory over Singh Jaideep at the Rizin World Grand Prix 2015 Finale in December 2015. The man considered by most MMA players to be the biggest heavyweight or mixed martial arts history competed mainly in Japan for the first half of his career under the PRIDE promotion where he ran through competition to become the heavyweight champion and best fighter in the world.

Jackson (38-13) returns after his crab is fired. He will race for the first time since the Bellator 206 in September 2018, when he stopped Wanderlei Silva in the second round to win a two-season fight. Like Emelianenko, “Rampage” put himself on the map as well as competing in PRIDE from 2001-2006.
