Bill Cosby publicist calls Eddie Murphy a “Hollywood slave” after his joke on SNL

Bill Cosby has been known as the father of America for as long as we can remember, and his publicist, Andrew Wyatt, would like this to continue! Apparently, Bill and his team didn’t follow a #EddieMurphy joke when he first appeared in the SNL, and things didn’t heat up much.

In an Instagram post, Wyatt takes on Eddie Murphy, comparing his joke and appearance to his return to slavery. He claims that black artists should be thankful to Bill, who has walked to run, and he even calls Eddie a “Hollywood Slave.”

“It is sad that Mr. Murphy takes advantage of this glorious moment of return to SNL and makes disparaging remarks against Mr. Cosby,” he said. “You would think that Mr. Murphy was allowed to leave the plantation, so that he could make his own decisions; but he decided to resell himself as a Hollywood slave. “

Bill Cosby’s publicist Andrew Wyatt responds to Eddie Murphy’s SNL monologue: “Mr. Cosby became the first Black to win an Emmy for his role in I Spy and Mr. Cosby broke the barriers of color in the entertainment industry, so that blacks like Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappell, Kevin Hart et al., May have the opportunity to showcase their talents for many generations to come. It is sad that Mr. Murphy takes advantage of this glorious moment of return to SNL and makes disparaging remarks against Mr. Cosby. You would think that Mr. Murphy was allowed to leave the plantation so that he could make his own decisions; but he decided to resell himself as a Hollywood slave. Stepin Fetchit plus cooning equals the destruction of the Black Men in Hollywood. Remember, Mr. Murphy, that Bill Cosby became legendary because he used comedy to humanize all races, religions and genres; but your attack Mr. Cosby helps you get into a click bait. I hope you will be ready to have a Spiritual Conversation meeting to discuss how we can use our collective platforms to improve Blacks rather than coming together. »#NotFunnySNL #SNL #FarFromFinished #FreeBillCosby #BillCosby

Eddie begins his tour by talking about all of his accomplishments this year, and says that one of the biggest things that happened was the birth of his 10th child! It was at this point that things turned out, when he came for Bill’s status as an American father.

“My kids are actually pretty much my life now. But if you had told me 30 years ago that I would be boring, that I would stay at home, dad and that Bill Cosby would be in prison, even I would have taken this gamble, “he said. And in his best impression of Bill, Eddie says “Who is America’s father now ?!”

Fans reacted positively to the joke, saying it was actually funny. But Wyatt is not there for that at all. His message continues to say:

“Remember, Mr. Murphy, that Bill Cosby became legendary because he used comedy to humanize all races, religions and genres; but your attack Mr. Cosby helps you to take a sick bait. I hope you will be ready to have a Spiritual Conversation meeting to discuss how we can use our collective platforms to improve Blacks rather than coming together. “
