Black Mirror Season 6 Episode Storylines and Plots

  • Joan is Awful – In this episode, we follow the story of a regular woman who is surprised that a well-known streaming platform has produced a high-quality TV series based on her life, featuring the famous actress Salma Hayek playing her character.
  • Loch Henry – This episode follows a young couple who visit a quiet Scottish town to produce a documentary about nature. However, they become intrigued by a compelling local story that involves shocking events from the past.
  • Beyond the Sea – In this episode, set in an alternate 1969, two men are on a dangerous high-tech mission and must face the aftermath of a tragic event. There have been rumors of a sequel to the “USS Callister” episode, especially since Aaron Paul will return in a space suit. However, the timeline of the new episode makes it unclear whether it is a follow-up.
  • Mazey Day – This episode explores how a troubled starlet is dogged by invasive paparazzi while dealing with the consequences of a hit-and-run incident.

According to Brooker’s statement to Tudum, the upcoming season of Black Mirror will be highly unpredictable. He believes that each story should be unique and surprising, both for the audience and himself. The show should constantly reinvent itself and resist being easily categorized.
