Blake Shelton admits he “was a fool for everyone” before meeting Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton is not afraid to admit that meeting Gwen Stefani was a life-changing experience. Speaking of his new duet with his four-year-old girlfriend, Nobody But You, Shelton said he did not want to remember what he looked like before Stefani.

Shelton was behind the scenes of The Voice Monday night when he spoke with Cassie DiLaura of Entertainment Tonight, and he said he was a completely different person now that Stefani was in his life.

“I’m still a little upset with you,” Shelton told fellow Voice coach Kelly Clarkson. “But I was a fool for everyone . Look how nice I am now!”

Stefani also admitted that Shelton not only changed his life, but he saved her.

“Blake saved my life, everyone knows it,” said the 50-year-old singer. “For example, we’re just having the best time in our lives, and we did not expect it so late in our lives, so we’re just trying to savor every moment together, and come back to The Voice as well – not to change subject – but working together again was really fun, and I like being here and I like being with him. “

John Legend added that he enjoys the energy of The Voice with Stefani and Shelton on the show together for Season 17, and this “softens” Shelton a bit.

Stefani and Shelton met in 2014 and started dating in 2015 after having each had a painful divorce at the same time. Stefani had separated from her husband Gavin Rossdale after cheating with the nanny, and Shelton had separated from Miranda Lambert after she had been unfaithful.

The couple spends more time together since they work on The Voice, but they have also been in the recording studio. Shelton and Stefani have recorded Nobody But You for their next album Fully Loaded: God’s Country.

Shelton said the duo was one of those songs where the more he heard it, the more he fell in love with it. The country’s superstar added that he also realized how important it was to him and where he was in his life because that corresponds to his story.

“I was about to come in and record when I decided that Gwen needed it because it’s our song. I think it’s magic, “said Shelton.

Here’s the third duet of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, while they recorded Go Ahead and Break My Heart in 2016 just a few months after starting out together and You Make It Feel Like Christmas for Stefani’s holiday album. 2018.
