Bollywood pays homage to RSS on 1st anniversary of death

Members of Bollywood industry pays tribute to RSS on the first anniversary of his death.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at son home on June 14, 2020.

His death sent shockwaves around Bollywood and even started a movement national to search justice for him.

Now many in the industry are taking social media to remember the late actor.

Actress Ankita Lokhande took to Instagram to share a photo montage of her with son co-star and former boyfriend.

Lokhande and SSR separate back in 2016 after six years and worked on TV show Pavitra Rishta together.

Marking 12 years of Pavitra Rishta as well as SSR death, Lokhande said:

“Sushant is not with us and Pavitra Rishta is incomplete without it. Only Sushant was the Manav of Archana.

It added:

“Sushant taught me to play, I didn’t know anything. I was a junior and he was very senior.

“He was a brilliant actor, a brilliant co-star and I have a lot of chance of work with him.”

Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin also took on Instagram to remember the SSR.

SSR and Bhasin worked on Chhichhore together, and Bhasin posted a photo of the pair in tribute at son deceased co-star.

His caption read: “I will remember you as the boy who Dared dream.

“Your passionately curious intellect, a deep fascination for astronomy and what lies beyond lead at the most awesome on set conversations.

“You could go from quantum physics to harvesting up dance choreography in seconds and that’s what made you unique.

“Your journey has been inspiring and the advice always generous.

“The world lost a jewel too soon. Saddened that today you have lost what must have been extremely difficult mental health battle.

“I hope that in the deafening silence of your death society is waking up up at need at more address mental health urgently and openly.

Likes of Kriti Sanon and Remo D’Souza also used Instagram to pay tribute to SSR on his death anniversary.

Several Bollywood stars took to Twitter to pay tribute too much. The #SushantSinghRajput hashtag is trending on the platform.

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda posted a photo of him and SSR together, saying:

“I hope you are happy and at peace wherever you are brother. “

Actor and producer Gurpreet Kaur Chadha also tweeted to honor the SSR.

She tweeted:

“I can’t believe it was a year, we lost a gem. This void will never be filled by anyone Am.

“Forever and ever, you will continue to remain SPECIAL. Stay happy and CALM wherever you are.

“I MISS YOU A LOT.”

Most notably, SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti took on Twitter to remember the day she lost her brother.

She said:

“June 14, 2020, around 2 p.m., one breaking up news broke my heart.

“Tears flowed up in my eyes as they said he was not more.

“#SushantSinghRajput we miss you… we lost a gem of Indian cinema. “

Shweta Singh Kirti’s tweet arrive despite herself plans at spend her brother’s death anniversary on a lonely retreat.

On May 27, 2021, she announced on Instagram that she would spend the month of June in the mountains without access to the Internet.

Kirti said she spend time “cherishing its sweet memories in silence”.
