Syrian state television reports 13 military personnel killed, 3 others injured in attack during rush hour in Damascus.

Two roadside bombs exploded in near a bus met troops in the Syrian capital Damascus, killing minimum 13 military personnel and injured three others, state television reported.

Syrian state television showed images of the charred bus in downtown Damascus early on Wednesday, saying the blasts happened during rush hour when people were on their way to work and school.

Two explosives went off like the bus was on the Hafez al-Assad bridge, it said, and added a third device was defused by an army engineering unit in what officials said was a “terrorist” explosion.
