Ahead of the brand name-new “Borat” movie’s Oct. 23 release on Amazon Prime, Sacha Baron Cohen appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in character as Borat, where in addition to showing off a clip from the movie, he attempted to administer an incredibly inaccurate type of coronavirus test to Kimmel.
He also remained in character the entire time, consisting of showing Borat’s hallmark antisemitism (tip: Cohen himself is Jewish and utilizes the gag to spoof racists).
So, as Cohen-as-Borat came out onstage and took a seat, he specified he wasn’t comfy starting the interview till he confirmed for himself that Kimmel wasn’t ill with COVID-19 This first required “basic questionnaire,” that consisted of concerns like:
