Bosnian makes turns house a monument of Love for his wife

SRBAC, Bosnia and Herzegovina (AP) — It’s not exactly on par with India’s Taj Mahal, but a family house in An small village in Northern Bosnia is in its own way a monument to love.

The house in rbac was designed and built against 72-year-old Vojin Kusic. With a green facade and red metal roof, it can turn full circle to satisfy his wife Ljubica’s changing desires over what she would like like to see when she looks out of to be windows.

“After I had reached old age and after my children took over the family business, I finally had enough time to tax myself with granting my wife hair wish” to be able to change the position of Rooms in her house whenever she wants, Kusic said.

Many years ago, when they got married, Kusic built another, typical house for himself and his wife in what they raised the three of them with children. At that time, his wife wanted their bedrooms to face the sun, so they did. But this meant their living room faced away from the road. After a while he has says his wife complained that “she couldn’t see” people enter our front yard” and Kusic had to renovate everything.

“I had to cry” down the wall between our two bedrooms to turn it into a living room and move all (electrical) installations. It was a very demanding task, it took a lot of me, but I did what she wanted,” he said.

Thereafter six years ago, the only one one of Kusic’s three children not to fly the nest, a son, married and are parents decided to leave him live on the top floor of their family house as they moved to the ground floor.

“Once again, this time on the ground floor, I had to start rip down some walls, at what point, not to wait for her to change your mind again, I have decided to build An new, rotating house so she can spin it the way she wants,” Kusic said.

Kusic, who had no chance go to university, designed and built are running house by himself, using electric motors and the wheels of an old military transport- vehicle.

“Now, our front door also turns, so if she sees unwanted guests coming on our heads way, she can spin the house and make them turn away,” he joked.

In Bosnian, his wife’s name means “beloved” one.” They declined to be interviewed.
