Brad Pitt jokes about why his mom didn’t attend the Golden Globes with him – here’s why he says it would have been “awkward!”

Brad Pitt returned home last night at the Golden Globes with the prestigious Best Supporting Actor Award in a film for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. And as he was in the running for honor alongside several other notable names, winning must have been particularly enjoyable.

As you may know, he had a serious competition since names such as Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hanks, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci were also nominated in the same category.

That said, he didn’t hesitate to talk about it in his acceptance speech, saying, “You know, when I started, these names that had just been listed – Pacino, Pesci, Hanks and, my mentor from facto from afar Sir Tony Hopkins… were like gods to me and it’s an honor in itself. All my respect, sincerely. “

It is not the first time that Brad has received this award, however.

He also won in 1996 for his role in 12 monkeys.

Brad then thanked his co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the director of the film, Quentin Tarantino, before also celebrating none other than his mother!

He continued to joke about why she and her father were unable to attend the awards ceremony.

“I wanted to bring my mother, but I couldn’t. Because any woman next to whom they say I go out. It would just be embarrassing, “he told the audience.

In reality, his parents were just in the Ozarks at the time and couldn’t get there.

But, of course, he is not mistaken about the rumors of meetings because they follow him since his separation from Angelina Jolie.

To make matters worse, not one but three of his exes were also at the Golden Globes last night!
