Monk said she knew she was an influencer when people asked her what products she used for her hair and makeup.

Monk didn’t say how much she made. Recent data from the music licensing platform Lickd.co shows that a user would need at least 10,000 subscribers or followers and more than 270 million clip views a year to make $100,000 a year on TikTok.

When it comes to how Monk chooses the brands to feature on her TikTok, those brands pay more attention to the weather.

Monk said that if he has creative freedom, he tries to work the product into a piece of general content she wants to make. Aside from that, it depends on what the “brand is comfortable” with. But Monk made it clear that she won’t promote something she doesn’t like.
