California requires prove of Covid vaccination for state employees

California will require state employees and certain health care professionals to show trial of Covid-19 or face test mandatory weeklies, top state officials said Monday.

The program will require prove of vaccination of all state employees by 2 August. Any state employees who remain not vaccinated by that date will be required produce a Covid. negative test at least once a week. Healthcare worker in outpatient settings like dental offices will also to be required take a covid test once a week.

“State offices and state employees are providing critical services in statewide and we believe this to be a way to ensure that continuity of government it is protected and state employees will work in a safe environment continue to provide services to California, “the state human resources department said.

In state health facilities, employees who work in a hospital setting will be required to show trial of a Covid vaccine or produce test Covid negative two times a week. Those who remain unvaccinated it is recommended to wear N95 masks during work.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio recently introduced a similar guide for municipal employees and health workers, Reported by NBC New York. All personnel who fail submit proof of vaccination by September 13 must catch a coronavirus test every week and all unvaccinated employees must wear a mask a work starting from 2 August.
