Campo Santo’s in the Valley of the Gods is officially stopped

In a statement to Polygon, Jake Rodkin, co-founder of Campo Santo, said that “the development in the Valley of the Gods is on hold.” While the game is not canceled, his future is uncertain, as Campo Santo employees are currently working on a new version work on a variety of projects for Valve, including Dota Underlords and the recently announced Half-Life: Alyx.

In the Valley of the Gods, the future seems even more shaky as Rodkin makes an ambiguous statement about whether the team will ever return to the project. “

This is certainly a hit for fans who have eagerly awaited this title since announcing it at the Game Awards two years ago.
