The Anime plot centers around Denji, a young man who is experiencing financial difficulties. It is believed that his father owned a large amount of money to the Yakuza, an organized crime gang, but died before he could pay it back. Demons may be found in Denji’s mortal and hellish worlds, a unique feature of his world. Denji is supported by Pochita, a canine-like character who displays people’s fear of chainsaws and appears to be attacking them. As a result, when Yazuka betrays Denji, the latter dies as a result of his actions. Poche then serves as his heart, allowing him to be revived, resulting in the creation of Denji a devil-human hybrid who is later known as the titular Chainsaw Man.

Denji

Working as a demon hunter, young and unhappy youngster Denji attempts to repay his late father’s debt to the yakuza with a bit of assistance from the canine-like Chainsaw Devil Pochita. However, after the yakuza betray Denji and enable a devil to kill him, Pochita establishes a deal with the devil, giving himself to resurrect his dead comrade and give Denji his abilities.

Denji can now transform into Chainsaw Man, a human-devil hybrid with a chainsaw for a head and two chainsaw blades on his arms, and work for the government as a Public Safety Devil Hunter by pulling a string on his chest.

Makima
