Chelsea are hoping to sign Graham Potter to replace Tuchel

London: Chelsea hope to sign Brighton manager Graham Potter in view of the team’s game against Fulham next Saturday in the English Premier League, according to the British news agency (BA Media). The new Chelsea owners are believed to be confident in furthering the team’s long-term vision and impressing Potter with it. Chelsea officials are expected to hold talks with Potter to fill the vacant position since the departure of German Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked earlier today, Wednesday. It is understood that Brighton gave the via free at Chelsea for Potter’s hiring, in one moment in which the 47-year-old coach is believed to be eager to complete the contractual process with the London team. Todd Boelly and Behdad Iqbali, Chelsea presidents, are looking for a manager to lead the team over the long term. Potter’s contract with Brighton includes a huge compensation clause, but Chelsea have been receptive. Chelsea sacked manager Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday morning, hours after the team lost 1-0 to Croatian Dinamo Zagreb in Champions League.
