LONDON: Chelsea beat London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 thanks to defender Antonio Rudiger’s first-half goal to complete the 3-0 victory in the League Cup semi-finals on Wednesday. Chelsea was in 2-0 first leg lead at Stamford Bridge last week and Rudiger made Tottenham’s job difficult when he converted in Mason Mount scored a corner in the 18th minute. Harry Kane’s goal was also disallowed for offside after a new intervention by the video referee. Chelsea, who will face Manchester City on Saturday in Premier League, he will seek his sixth League Cup title when in final will face Liverpool or Arsenal.
