Chiellini reveals when he will retire from international football with Italy

Rome: Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini has decided to retire from international football after his country’s match with his Argentine counterpart, which will be held at Wembley stadium on June 1st next. The match, which will bring together the European champions and the South American champions, will be the best conclusion of Chiellini’s career (37 years old), in what will take place in the place in which the Italian national team won the European Championship last year. The Italian team failed to qualify for the World Cup that will be held in Qatar next November, so the defender believes that the match to be played in June will be the best farewell, according to reports on the “Dazn” platform after Juventus beating Sassuolo 2-1 on Monday evening. The player is still undecided whether to extend his career from club for another year with Juventus, that is in fight for fourth place in Italian league to play in Champions League, as well as for the Italian Cup title.
