Chinese President Xi Jinping said Thursday that his country will establish an exchange in the capital, Beijing, to serve small and medium-sized businesses.
“We will continue to support innovation-based development of small and medium-sized enterprises . by establishing the Beijing Stock Exchange as a central platform serving innovation-based small and medium-sized enterprises,” he added. in a video speech in opening of the China International Service Trade Fair.
The Securities Regulatory Authority said Thursday that the establishment of this stock exchange in Beijing will help deepen structural reforms on the financial side and improve capital market systems.
