China launches two satellites for commercial remote sensing services

China today launched a Long March-2C carrier rocket to put two satellites into space from the Taiwan Satellite Launch Center in northern China.

The two satellites (SIWI 03 and 04) were launched at 6:57 Beijing time and quickly entered their predetermined orbit.

The two satellites will provide commercial remote sensing services for areas such as land resource surveying, natural disaster monitoring, urban planning and security.

It is worth noting that this mission represented flight no. (427) of the “Long March” family aircraft carrier missiles.
