Chinese fuel boom rates in US trade met techTaiwan exporter

U.S trade with Taiwan is booming as the self-governing island takes the cash in on rising demand for to be computer potato chips and lure factories back from China, where many exports to the US including electronics are subject to 25% tariffs.

Taiwan is now number 8 worldwide in trade with The United States, just behind the UK and beyond of Vietnam. It exported a record $72 billion in goods to the US in the 12 months to met September. That is up about 70% since 2017, the year before the Trump administration Chinese tariffs imposed.
