Customs data showed today, Friday, that Chinese exports rose 20.9% in December, year-on-year, and imports increased 19.5% over the same period.
Analysts had expected exports to rise 20% last month after rising 22% in November, and they expected imports to grow 26.3% after rising 31.7% in November.
