Kevin Costner and his wife Christine have decided to end their marriage and get a divorce.
Fox News Digital was informed by a representative of the “Yellowstone” singer that the couple, who have been married for the past 18 years, had decided to divorce each other and end their partnership.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired that have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” a representative for Costner said in a statement. “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired.”
During this trying time, we ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s right to privacy be respected. We are sorry for the hardship that they are going through.
Christine, who was 49 at the time, and Kevin, who had just celebrated his 68th birthday in January, got married on Kevin’s ranch in Aspen, Colorado, in September of 2004. They are the parents of three children as a couple.
He was formerly married to Cindy Silva for a total of 16 years, during which time they welcomed three children: two daughters and one son.
In addition, Costner and Bridget Rooney had a child together.
Even though he was nominated for a Golden Globe earlier this year for his performance as John Dutton in Paramount’s “Yellowstone,” the star of “Field of Dreams” was unable to attend the ceremony because of the significant rain and floods that occurred close to his house in California.
After a few weeks had passed, when he finally got his hands on the coveted trophy, he uploaded a video to social media and published it.

He explained, “We were unable to make it to the Golden Globes due to the flooding; we got cut off… and we felt so terrible about that, but there was just nothing we could do.” “As our chances of making it there became less likely, we watched the time evaporate before our eyes like sand in a bottle.”
Costner praised Christine for getting the most out of the event by crafting balloon decorations for their home.
“We weren’t at one of the greatest parties in the world, but we found ourselves together as a family,” he added. “We weren’t at one of the greatest parties in the world.” When my children heard my name being called, they stood to their feet and cheered for me.
Even though the network has promised a summer premiere, Paramount has not yet confirmed whether or not Costner will be returning to the Dutton ranch. It is not apparent whether or not production on new episodes has already s area there is nothing new to report at this time. When asked if the cowboy drama was nearing its conclusion, a spokeswoman for the Paramount Network told Fox News Digital that they hoped Kevin Costner would continue to play a significant role in the series “Yellowstone” for a significant amount of time in the future.
