The NBA fined Paul George $35,000 after the Clippers star slammed authorities in Tuesday’s defeat to the 76 ers.
George declared the Clippers came down with some “home-court cooking” following a 110-103 loss to the 76 ers in Philadelphia.
The six-time All-Star– who was simply 3 of 15 from the field and among 4 from three-point variety for 11 points– felt the Clippers were up versus it in more methods than one, with the going to side punished for 8 more individual fouls than the 76 ers.
And the NBA approved George for his comments on Thursday, the league stating the fine “likewise shows his numerous previous infractions of the guideline restricting public criticism of the officiating.”
In his first season with the Clippers given that showing up from the Oklahoma City Thunder, George is balancing 22.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.0 helps per game.
