Coalition: Airstrikes on legitimate military targets in Sana’a

The Coalition to uphold legitimacy in Yemen announced the implementation of air strikes on legitimate military targets in Sana’a response to the threat.

On Sunday evening, the coalition said the operation complies with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

It also asked civilians not to assemble or approach the targeted sites.

The coalition is said to have announced on Saturday evening “the destruction of one of the main storage sites for weapons and supplies”. in Sana’a“.

He confirmed: “The destruction of underground Houthi weapons depots in Sana’a and supply stores for the fronts.”

He also added: “We have taken precautionary measures to spare civilians and civilian items in Sana’a from collateral damage.”

On Saturday he also announced the implementation of “air strikes on legitimate military targets in Sanaa”.

He stressed that “the strikes in Sana’a respect international humanitarian law and its customary rules”, asking “civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites”.

Military base

Interestingly, since last Sunday, the coalition has carried out a series of attacks on the Sanaa sites, in particular the airport, after revealing, in pictures and videos, which had been converted by the militias in a military base for Hezbollah revolutionary Guards and experts.

It also revealed the targeting of the centers of gravity for specific targets at the Al-Daylami base connected to the Sanaa airport, which includes facilities for the assembly and improvisation of drones and platforms for the launch of underground ballistic missiles.
