Today, Wednesday, the Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen intercepted an explosive fourth march into Yemeni airspace.
Previously, the Coalition to Support Legittimacy in Yemen said coalition forces had intercepted and destroyed 3 booby-trapped drones in Yemeni airspace.
In detail, coalition forces intercepted and destroyed a drone with a booby trap in it prime morning hours in Yemeni airspace. A few minutes later, the coalition announced that its air forces had intercepted and destroyed a second trap drone. A few hours later, the coalition air forces intercepted and destroyed a third trap drone in Yemeni airspace.
The coalition has indicated a hostile escalation by the Houthi terrorist militia, with attempts to target civilians.
“We take and implement operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attacks,” the coalition stressed.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the coalition reported the destruction of a platform mobile for the launch of booby-trapped drones in Sanaa, adding that the destroyed launch pad in Sanaa was used to launch the two drones at Abha airport.
Interestingly, these militias have long continued their attempts to target civilian and economic targets in the Kingdom, in attempts that have drawn condemnation from several Arab and Western countries, underlining their support for the Kingdom and its security, denouncing the terrorist attacks of the Houthis.
These repeated and increasing attempts by the Houthis in the last period come in one moment in which the United Nations is trying to establish a ceasefire in Yemen, in order to relaunch negotiations, in order to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict in course on for years.
