Committee Monitoring Iran Crisis Led by Kingdom Chairmanship

Today, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multiple International Affairs, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Rassi, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Arab Quartet, concerned with following the developments of the crisis with Iran and ways of dealing his meddling in internal affairs of the Arab countries, on the sidelines of the work of the (159) session of the Council of the League of Arab States at ministerial level at the headquarters of the Arab League The General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. The committee examined a report prepared by the General Secretariat of the Arab League on developments in the crisis with Iran, discussed a draft political declaration on this crisis and Arab relations with it, and also prepared a draft resolution which it presented to the 159th session of the Arab League Council for approval.

Dr. Al-Rassi attended the sixth meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee Concerned about the Follow-up of Turkish Interference in the Internal Affairs of Arab Countries, chaired by Egypt, where the committee discussed Turkish interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for various international relations also attended the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee concerned with the move to stop Israeli measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, chaired by Jordan, where the committee examined the report prepared by the Secretariat Arab League general on the latest developments in the situation in Jerusalem and the Arab move to stop Israeli measures in the occupied city, and presented a report to Arab foreign ministers on the matter.
