Compressed Juventus beat Empoli 4-0

TURIN: Midfielder Adrien Rabiot scored twice to help Juventus beat Empoli 4-0 at Allianz Stadium on Friday, leading Massimiliano Allegri’s side to two consecutive wins in Serie A for the first time in this season. Striker Moise Kean led the hosts in advantage in the eighth minute after a beautiful cross by Philip Kostic. Weston McKinney doubled the lead shortly after the start of the second half, when Juan Cuadrado passed a superb ball that the US player aimed for the roof of the net. Rabiot strengthens Juventus’ superiority with a header after another Cuadrado assist in the 82nd minute, then the Frenchman completes the quartet in extra time. Juventus advances one position to become seventh in ranking with 19 points, ahead of Inter, who will visit Fiorentina on Saturday. Empoli remain in 11th place (Reuters)
