Count on – Jill Duggar cuts 14 inches of her hair and fans can’t believe how young she looks

Former Counting On star Jill Duggar has cut more than a foot of her hair, and she looks like a completely different person. Fans are in love with Duggar’s new look, which they have been asking for for years.

Jill’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, are famous for their extremely conservative rules, especially regarding the family dress code. But it’s not just about modest clothes. None of the Duggar women cut their hair because of their fundamentalist religious beliefs.

In the book Growing Up Duggar, which Jill wrote with his sisters Jana, Jessa and Jinger, they explained that they did not cut their hair because of the Bible verse Corinthians 11: 14-15.

“Although it is a pity that a man has long hair, a woman’s hair is his glory,” reads the verse.

Jill posted many photos and a video to the Dillard family blog to show fans the step-by-step process for cutting her long locks, which were so long before the cut, that she could sit on it.

The mother of two also revealed that she had not had her hair cut for the first time until the age of 14 and that she had never cut more than six inches at a time until ‘now. Jill explained that she usually gets a trim twice a year, and this time she decided to go a lot shorter because it got unmanageable, and her two young songs got tangled up.

“I was sitting on it and the weight was contributing to headaches!” Said Jill. “I thought about it and got excited when I thought that if I were a little more abducted, I would have enough to give to an organization that makes free wigs for people who have lost their hair.”

Jill said she ended up getting 14 inches cut, and added a few more layers. Once it was over, Jill couldn’t forget how lighter she was and she loves it.

When Jill posted photos to her, her husband Derick Dillard commented, “Take a good look at my baby!” And her older sister Jana wrote that she liked the new look, while Jessa called it “cute.”

“You look much younger and lighter !!” wrote one fan.

In 2012, Jill’s mother, Michelle, cut her hair shorter than normal, and her father Jim Bob told the Today Show that he preferred Michelle’s hair to be longer. Michelle admitted that she was going to grow back because she wanted to please her husband, and that’s all he likes.

Michelle also said to her daughters, “Girls, I just have to tell you, have no ideas. Don’t rush to a hair salon and cut half of your hair. “
