DaBaby released from prison after arrest in Miami

TSR Updatez: DaBaby is a free man, for now, after his arrest in Miami earlier this week.

DaBaby has been behind bars since Thursday when he was arrested for his alleged connection to an armed robbery. He is currently facing a battery charge.

He was released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at West Miami-Dade on Saturday night after the withdrawal of an arrest warrant for Texas, according to WSVN.

This warrant was actually the reason why his bail was refused in the first place. DaBaby was told by a judge Friday morning that he had to stay in jail due to an open case in Texas for what the judge described as “organized criminal activity”.

The Texas warrant was allegedly the result of a fight in which DaBaby participated in the Dallas / Fort Worth airport. DaBaby and a friend were charged with attacking an employee who worked at a food stand.

It has been reported that he was supposed to be extradited to Texas to handle this case, so it is unclear what has changed or whether the Dallas authorities have dropped the charges.

Regarding his arrest in Miami, DaBaby is accused of stealing from a concert organizer $ 80, a credit card and an iPhone, according to the affidavit of arrest provided to us by the police. Miami. The report also alleged that someone had sprayed the victim with apple juice.

The report said the alleged fight involved a financial dispute. The promoter told police he had given $ 20,000 to DaBaby, but DaBaby said he owed him $ 30,000 for a concert he was scheduled to play on Thursday.

The report indicates that a second victim was also struck in the face. According to the arrest report, DaBaby denied any involvement in the theft.

He is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted on any updates.
