The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Daw Prescott insisted he would be ready to face the Philadelphia Eagles in a critical NFL clash as both teams battle for a playoff spot.
Prescott’s availability for Sunday’s blockbuster has been called into question due to a right shoulder erosion suffered in the third quarter of last week’s win over the Los Angeles Rams.
The NFC East title will be on the line when the Cowboys visit the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field – both franchises sharing a 7-7 record at the top of the league with two games remaining in the regular season.
NFL WEEK 16: Scaling up scenarios for the Cowboys, other teams
Prescott dispelled fears of his availability, telling reporters on Thursday: “I’ll be good to go on Sunday.
“Get better, simple and so on. Mobility, its functioning, everything improves. That’s the key … That’s the goal … It’s annoying, I mean, it’s nagging, it definitely dealt with a lot more pain, so it’s annoying.
“(The injury) happened at the beginning of the game (against the Rams) and I was okay, playing throughout the second half without being a problem, not a problem.
Jerry Jones believes Dak Prescott will be in “top form” for Sunday.

Prescott, who did not try to fly during Thursday’s media practice, added: “It’s frustrating, I’m a man who wants to be in action. He makes any repetitions, but he’s good mentally.
“It’s always fun just to challenge yourself, and right now it’s just a mental challenge. The same preparation in the game plan, if not duplication, as I don’t get physical repetitions.”
Concerning Prescott’s limited preparation, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told 105.3 The Fan: “You like to work out there, but I am absolutely convinced that it will be in top form.
“And we have to have him at the top, and he’ll be at the top, the form. So, I think the situation is accurately described. These are things that players play and practice with. So, I think,” be in good shape. . Don’t worry about it. “
