The broadcaster took to the micro-blogging site and shared that he and Mrs Walker were just 24 minutes into Friday night’s football match between Turkey and Italy.

Dan cheekily revealed that he has been forced to go elsewhere.

In view of his 712,000 followers, the Breakfast presenter caused a stir after sharing his other half’s thoughts.

This is not the first time that Dan has been banned from making television suggestions in the Walker household.

The Breakfast presenter recently took to the micro-blogging site and revealed he was on a six-month film ban.

The dad-of-three penned: “Just watched #Tenet with Mrs Walker… or at least we think we did!

“I have no idea what it was about. My wife has banned me from making film suggestions for at least six months.”

Dan tied the knot with his wife Sarah in 2001 after they met while studying at the University of Sheffield, and rarely shares insights into his home life.

The broadcaster is a father to three young children; son Joe, and two daughters Susanna and Jessica.
