Dan Walker, the presenter of BBC’s Football Focus, has revealed that his dream job almost didn’t happen after a former boss told him he had reached the peak of his talent years earlier. Walker said that the former boss had claimed he would be unable to proceed much further in his career. Despite being left disheartened, Walker continued to pursue his goal, and within a month had secured the presenter job with Football Focus. Walker added that he has positive mental health and never fears his performance on screen, but he is confident in his ability due to the work he has put in over the years.
