Dark Ages # 1 reveals how the universe-altering event begins

The world of Wonder perceives his latest existential threat in Dark years # 1.

A Marvel comic preview for the issue sees the day start out quite normal for Our favorite Heroes of wonder. It’s “pizza time” for Peter Parker, Mary Jane, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, who I’m catching up while them children I’m playing (with Peter and MJ’s daughter attached to the ceiling). When Peter goes to bring his daughter May down, that’s when the danger makes itself felt.

The next page sees every spider-powered hero and person, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy (Ghost-Spider), Peter Parker and his daughter, experience throbbing pain as their spider senses go in tilt. This page was previously taken in round in first interiors art shown in the Free Marvel previews Catalog for September. The page was viewed uncolored with writer Tom Taylor in later released the colorful version online to tease the upcoming event. This preview now see the dialogue and placed narration over page.

The narrative seems to come from Peter Parker, who seems to say the story as if it happened in the past, stating that “The spiders felt it first.” He highlights the level of danger that would have soon come down the line saying this level of the pain and spidery sensation had never been felt when Galactus was approaching Earth. Of course, spider heroes aren’t the only ones detecting something wrong.

crossing over from New Jersey to Manhattan, Lunella Lafayette, otherwise known as Moon Girl, detects the anomaly on her equipment in his underground laboratory. Moon Girl is relatively newer character, debut in 2015 Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur # 1. About of the T-Rex, Lunella is then seen running through the city talk to the only other person who could understand the readings he had just seen: Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic of fantastic Four.

Not everyone is afraid of the unknown power in about to arrive on Earth, though. Jean Gray and Professor X of the X-Men felt the presence like spiders, but one mutant hugged him completely. The preview, which can be found below, ends with Apocalypse enjoying the feeling it feels, wanting to feel that feeling power more.

Apocalypse was another confirmed character for this event, long with a battle- Damaged vision in Images drawn by Ryan Stegman. Readers can also expect to see a poisoned Miles Morales, a wounded Iron Man and the debut of the Unmaker, Marvel’s latest big bad. The preview for the issue could be found below.
