Deschamps reveals why Mbappe left the retirement of the French national team

France coach Didier Deschamps has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe’s departure from the “Blues” field, in the midst of a state of controversy, was due to a muscle problem, although medical tests did not reveal an injury.

Deschamps said, in a press conference on the eve of the upcoming match against Ukraine on Saturday evening, in the fifth round of the European qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar, of the young striker who leaves the field of the French national team: “While there is no possibility that (Mbappe) will be available on Saturday (against Ukraine) or Tuesday (against Finland), I see no interest in him staying with us.”

He continued: “Mbappe’s recovery period will be very short and despite the exclusion of a muscle injury, there is a muscle problem, as a result of which he suffers from pain.”

Deschamps has settled the controversy, which came in the form of rumors about Mbappe’s unjustified absence from qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

Last Wednesday Mbappe participated in the France-Bosnia match, which ended in a disappointing draw for the French fans, and played until the 90th minute, then was replaced by Moussa Diaby.

Mbappe dominated the headlines during the last summer transfer period, after being close to moving to Real Madrid, but the deal fell through at the last moment, due to the intransigence of his Paris Saint team management. -Germain.
