Destiny 2 Season of Dawn Trailer shows Saint-14, new activities

Before the next season of Destiny 2, Season of Dawn, was fully revealed on December 4, Bungie dropped a surprise teaser on Tuesday. As well as looking at the new gameplay activities and upcoming rewards, the teaser focuses on the return of a famous Guardian player who was once thought dead: Saint-14.

Bungie also revealed some of the upcoming Season of Dawn features on his website. The season is focused on Mercury, Destiny 2’s smallest planet. There’s a new activity called “The Sundial,” and those who own the season can earn new weapons inspired by Saint-14. Players will also use the Osiris Lantern as their new artifact this season and receive the Scout Rifle Symmetry Exotic via the Season Ranking system.

From the trailer, however, it is clear that Saint-14 is the hero of the coming season. Saint is a famous Guardian in Destiny history. While players have never met Saint-14 in the game, they’ve been using his helmet for years – the helmet of Saint-14 Titan Exotic. A year ago, players discovered the body of Saint-14 in the endless forest at Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, and took his Perfect Paradox shotgun.

But Saint-14 is definitely alive in Season of Dawn, he just will not start like that. According to Osiris featured in the trailer, players need to help correct the timeline and finally revive Saint-14. To get specific answers, just how they do that, the fans have to wait until the stream is released on December 4 or December 10 of the Season of Dawn.
