Dhamk leads temporarily and Sierra leads Al-Taie to pass Al-Fateh

Damak is temporarily in lead the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup standings, after a difficult 1-0 win over his host Al-Fayhaa, scored by Farouk Shafei in the 83rd minute, within the twelfth round of the championship.

With this result, Damak’s balance rises to 24 points in first place and momentarily in command of the standings, while that of Al-Fayhaa stops at seventeenth point in sixth place.

Al-Taie’s team also scored their first win under the leadership of his new manager, Luis Sierra, in the first match he oversaw after contracting with him, at the expense of his visiting team Al-Fateh with a score of 1 -0. After a lob by Abdul Karim Al-Qahtani inside thearea, Sa`oud winked with his head in the open door as the first and only goal of the match.

With this result, Al-Taei’s balance rose to tenth point to fourteenth place, while Al-Fath remained at twelfth point to tenth place after suffering his fifth defeat and leaving more than a question mark about his levels and modest results.

In another match, Al-Faisaly’s side drew with their goalless host Al-Shabab in the match that brought them together at the Al-Majmaa Sports City Stadium. The game was balanced by the two teams who lost several chances.

With this result, the balance of Al-Shabab rose to 22 points in third place, while that of Al-Faisaly rose to 15 points in eighth.
