Dick Strawbridge gives Escape To The Chateau update 'We’ve had the cameras with us'

Escape To The Chateau star Dick Strawbridge took to social media last night to share an update with his 82,100 Twitter followers. The TV star revealed that he and his wife Angel will be back on TV screens as early as next week.

He shared a post which announced the return of the couple and their Channel 4 show.

The 61-year-old told fans that the camera crew had already arrived at their 19th-century Château in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France to film scenes.

Escape To The Chateau: Make Do And Mend will see the pair take on some DIY challenges around their stunning home.

“The Strawbridges are back…,” a tweet from The Chateau read.

“The wait is over for our UK fans, a brand-new series of Escape To The Chateau: Make Do And Mend has arrived and we’re so excited to see Dick and Angel tackle some of the nation’s DIY dilemmas!

“Catch the first episode at 9pm 24th June on @Channel4.”

Perhaps fans who are missing out on the new show will be able to get their “Strawbridge fix” on the couple’s website.

In 2020, they set up an online community offering exclusive content including videos and Q&A sessions.

To mark Father’s Day in the UK at the weekend, Dick will be hosting a special online cookalong for subscribers.

He shared the details of how to sign up on the microblogging site.

Escape To The Chateau: Make Do And Mend will air on June 24 at 9pm on Channel 4.
