Mary Poppins star, Dick Van Dyke, shared his workout routine yesterday with millions of CBS viewers. However, many were left stunned that the 95-year-old completed an intense workout.

Missouri-born Dick reflected on his remarkable career that has spanned over seven decades.
While Dick, born Richard Wayne Van Dyke, is known for his acting skills, it appears the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang star has won over a new legion of fans.
During the new interview, the dad-of-four appeared in the garden of his Malibu home, completing a gruelling workout regime.
However, he noted that many of his friends of a similar age wouldn’t be able to work out to the same ability as him.

Dick, who made a name for himself as one of Hollywood’s greats, was seen doing sit-ups and leg raises from his lavish garden, leaving viewers swooning over his dedication to stay fit.
“I’m 95 and a lot of my friends won’t do these,” he said as he was filmed doing sit-ups while holding onto a bar.
He went on to say: “And then I do these,” as he showed himself doing a string of leg raises while rotating his hips.
Dick continued to tell CBS This Morning: “So all you old guys out there, listen to me. I’m telling you, you can keep going… I’m still dancing and singing!”

“Just saw a story on our breakfast news about Dick Van Dyke exercising and keeping himself active at 95! Bl**dy hell, I will be happy to make it to 95 much be as active as he is!” exclaimed one.
While a second added: “Few things or people inspire me like Dick Van Dyke dancing and entertaining us all his life and he still is vital in his 90s. If I have to get old let it be like this.”

The interview focused on Dick’s Hollywood career, varying from his days hosting the CBS Morning Show between 1955 and 1956 through to his appearance in the 2018 hit film, Mary Poppins Returns.
During the remake of the iconic film, Dick was seen dancing on top of a desk after being given the option of three dance routines.
However, wanting to prove himself, Dick chose the most challenging routine to prove that he was able to dance at 91.
“He [Rob Marshall] gave me three versions, and I took the hardest one.”
“I said, ‘I want that one’,” Dick recalled.
He went on to add: “I had to prove I can do it, I was 91 I think.”
Dick candidly spoke about some of his personal struggles over the course of his life, revealing that he is a recovering alcoholic.
The actor bravely revealed that during his time on The Duck Caveat Show in 1974, he was struggling and suffering from mental health issues.
