Disciplinary Commission: Rejects Al Hilal Club’s protest against Hamdi Al-Naqaz’s participation

Today, Tuesday, the Saudi Football Association’s Discipline and Ethics Committee rejected Al Hilal’s protest regarding the player’s participation in the club Tunisian Al-Ahly Hamdi Al-Naqaz at the match of the two teams in the tenth round of the Professional League to register him outside the registration period for the 2021-2022 sporting season.

The committee spoke that after the Al Hilal Club completed the formal procedures, the committee turned to the Saudi Football Association’s Professionalism and Conditions of Players Committee and the Al Ahli Club to respond to the reasons for the protest presented by the Al Hilal Club.

The committee decided to formally reject the protest of the club Al-Fateh against the decision of match referee Al-Ittihad to calculate a penalty kick against the player Al-Fateh, because the management of the club has not completed the protest procedures.

The disciplinary commission confirmed that its decisions are open to challenge under Article (139) of the disciplinary and ethical regulation.
