Disclosure of the identity of a Houthi leader killed in western Yemen

Joint forces on the west coast of Yemen revealed the identity of a Houthi leader in the field who was killed along with a number of militiamen south of Hodeidah in the west of the country.

THE media Joint forces claimed that the Houthi militia had failed to recover Al-Maroni’s body.

Al-Maroni, originally from the old city of Sanaa, works as a supervisor for a group whose members are stationed in Jabal Irfan, south of Hais.

Furthermore, on Monday evening, the joint forces repelled an attempted infiltration of Houthi elements on their positions in the district of Al-Durayhimi, south of the city of Hodeidah.

During the response process, the joint forces killed two Houthi infiltrators and captured a third, while some of the last Houthis were injured, according to media joint forces military.

Joint forces continue to inflict casualties on Houthi militias in equipment and lives during their response to militia attacks and violations of the UN humanitarian armistice in Hodeidah Governorate.
